The Mission of the Zach Halverson Program
Hello, my name is Zach Halverson, I am 16 years old from the beautiful state of Minnesota. Here is the deal, Obama and the rest of the democrats appeal to the youth. Why? There are a lot of reasons like:
Inform the youth in a non informative way.
This show is going to be straight forward, funny, and not the crap your mom and dad have made you listen to in the car. It will not be boring. Call it the anti-NPR, call it the morning zoo of talk radio, but don't call it what it isn't, some moron kid trying to talk about crap he doesn't understand. - The Grand "Old" Party sounds old. Young people think old people are boring. Simple as that.
- John McCain: Sorry folks but an old white guy doesn't appeal to anyone, especially the youth.
- Media: I am not talking about just Television here. Yes, most of the TV networks are left leaning but it doesn't matter anymore. It is 2011 and nobody my age watches CNN or MSNBC, they go to the internet. From The Huffington Post to The Daily Kos to the rest of the left-wing blogs, the left is beating the crap out of the right when it comes to the internet. The definition of the word Media is-The main means of mass communication. Mass communication includes more than just the biased journalism on TV. The right needs to step up their digital platform if they want to get any of the youth involved.
- School: I was lucky enough to have some pretty solid teachers that didn't have a lot of bias. My favorite teacher was Mr.Seeba, who was 100% fair on every issue when he talked about current events in class even though he was a flaming liberal.However, I heard countless stories from fellow classmates about extreme liberal bias in their classroom by teachers I never had. This is high school, not college. It simply should not be this way, but it is and that is why it is extremely important for those of us on the right to make our voices heard to the youth.
